RELC 303 - The Historical Jesus

Using historical methods and depending on early Christian gospel literature, this course aims to understand Jesus in the environment of 1st century Palestinian Judaism, and to explore the continuities and discontinuities between Jesus and Judaism on the one hand, and Jesus and Christianity on the other.
