ARCH 1020 - Experiencing Architecture: Mindful Ways to Explore Our Built Environment

In this course students will explore what it means to “experience” a work of architecture, and they will develop ways to make their own architectural experiences more meaningful. Students will learn fundamental architectural concepts both through the study of great works of architecture from around the world, and through their personal experiences of buildings, gardens, and urban spaces on the UVA campus.
