GNUR 6653 - FNP and PNP-PC Practicum I

This course provides clinical experiences with women and children that build on basic concepts and skills used by nurse practitioners in the delivery of primary health care including health promotion, risk reduction and management of common acute health problems. Direct guidance and supervision is provided by physicians and nurse practitioners at the clinical sites under the overall direction of the faculty. Prerequisite: GNUR 6620 or GNUR 6640.
