WGS 2450 - Gender and Environmental Justice Examines different ways of integrating gender into environmental analysis and organizing around the world, with a focus on power and links to race/class/nation. Topics include women’s leadership in environmental movements; ecofeminism vs. feminist environmentalism; gendering of ecological knowledge and restoration; the impact of gendered divisions of labor on ecology; environmental violence; unequal health impacts; intimacy and sustainability.
