PSHM 3080 - Decision Making and Medical Ethics

Explores the role of ethics in leadership for success in todays healthcare environment. Introduces foundational theories in healthcare ethics, ethical decision-making, legal and prof. standards, institutional and inter-prof. ethical constraints, and ethical issues facing healthcare profs. Applies moral reasoning, based on ethical theories, to concerns encountered by healthcare admins, policy makers and providers. Req: Admission to BPHM or BIS
