JPTR 5990 - Modern Japanese Women Writers Introduces the resurgence of the female literary tradition from 1904 to the present. Focuses on how literary women in Japan express their subversive voice often through the autobiographical fiction. Taught in English. Restricted to area studies majors and minors. Prerequisite: JPTR5020 or equivalent, or instructor permission.
