INST 3175 - Litigating Product Liability Actions
The course will allow undergraduates to explore trial advocacy and the law of products liability based on materials provided by the American Mock Trial Association. Students will gain an understanding of the Federal Rules of Evidence, witness control techniques, and direct and cross examination writing.
Prerequisites: Prior course work in torts or trial advocacy (e.g. COMM 3410, COMM 3420 or SOC 2055; or by instructor permission. Students are encouraged to consult with the instructor prior to enrollment.
