CHEM 142 - Introductory College Chemistry II The principles and applications of chemical science are developed. Topics include stoichiometry, chemical bonding, chemical equations and reaction types, states of matter, chemical kinetics and thermodynamics, acids and bases, electrochemistry, nuclear chemistry, and the descriptive chemistry of the elements. This course is designed for students planning to elect further courses in chemistry, physics, and biology. (Y)
