ANTH 3930 - Kinship and the New Reproductive Technologies

The course explores the manner in which cultural understandings of kinship relations both give shape to and are transformed by the new reproductive technologies-including surrogacy, in vitro fertilization, pre-implantation diagnosis, cloning and amniocentesis. Prerequisite: ANTH 290 or permission of instructor.
