ENWR 1508 - Academic Writing II - ESL

Part II of two-course sequence for non-native speakers of English. Fulfills the first writing requirement. Students identify and implement the conventions and expectations of academic writing. Following a review of principles covered in ENWR 105, the course addresses methods of essay organization; research strategies; unity and coherence; use of effective vocabulary, sentence sturcture, and grammar; and editing. In addition to class time, bi-weekly meetings with instructor for 20 minutes are required. ENWR 105.
