ARTH 3257 - Michelangelo and His Time

Analyzes the work of Michelangelo in sculpture, painting and architecture in relation to his contemporaries in Italy and the North. The class focuses on the close investigation of his preparatory drawings, letters, poems and documents. Prerequisite: One course in the history of art beyond the level of ARTH 101 and 102
