CE 6400 - Traffic Operations

Covers the methods for evaluating the impact on the quality of traffic operations due to the interaction of the three main components of the highway mode: the driver, the vehicles, and the road. Includes the collection and analysis of traffic operations data, fundamentals of traffic flow theory, analysis of capacity and level of service and accident analysis. Prerequisite: Graduate standing or instructor permission.
