CHE 4438 - Process Modeling, Dynamics, and Control

Introduction to the dynamics and control of process systems, controller, sensors, and final control elements. Time and frequency domain characterization of these subsystems are developed and employed in stability analysis of closed control loops. Design of simple process control systems. Three lecture hours. Prerequisite: CHE 318 and 322.
