ASTR 3340 - Teaching Astronomy

A seminar-style class offered primarily for non-majors planning to teach science or looking to improve their ablility to communicate science effectively. In addition to astronomy content, students will learn effective teaching strategies and gain practical experience by developing and implementing their own concept-based astronomy lessons. Prerequisite: ASTR 121, 124; instructor permission
