ARCH 3120 - Architectural Theory and Ethics Architectural theory acts as a critical discourse parallel to practice¿as its conscience and provocation. Buildings, landscapes, and manifestos by architects are scrutinized for significant, recurring themes using methods from aesthetics, philosophy, and criticism. This course relies upon reading, writing, and argument to develop an analytic approach that bridges the gap between architectural knowledge and other forms of knowledge. Prerequisite: AR H 101 and 102.
