SYS 616 - Knowledge-Based Systems

A graduate-level survey of artificial intelligence techniques with emphasis on their application to systems engineering problem- solving. Topics include: informed and uninformed search; propositional and first order logic; and learning techniques such as Bayes nets, reinforcement learning and neural networks. Students are required to have sufficient computational background to complete several substantive programming assignments. Cross-listed as CS 616. (Y)
