MAE 603 - Computational Solid Mechanics


Analyzes variational and computational mechanics of solids; potential energy; complementary energy; virtual work; Reissner’s principle; Ritz and Galerkin methods; displacement; force and mixed methods of analysis; finite element analysis including shape functions, convergence, and integration.
