CE 641 - Water Quality Modeling

A first course in surface water quality modeling. Emphasizes the basic understanding of the mechanisms and interactions to various types of water quality behavior. Designed to meet a very simple need—dissemination of the fundamentals and principles underlying the mathematical modeling techniques used to analyze the quality of surface waters. Students practice wasteload allocations using a variety of water quality models on microcomputer systems. (Y)
