LAW5 630 - Environmental Law and Conservation Clinic

In this semester-long clinic the Southern Environmental Law Center will supervise up to three students each semester. These students will engage in supervised environmental practice activities at the Center, which is located at 201 West Main Street in Charlottesville. Examples of cases which may be pending are Clean Water Act citizen suits, wetlands cases, air permit appeals, road project cases, NEPA challenges, and forest management cases. Students will be involved in legal and factual research, as well as writing pleadings, briefs and other significant documents.
