PLAN 559 - Global Environmental International Development This course will explore development related root causes of environmental degradation in an international context. The course examines theoretical frameworks explaining the linkage between underdevelopment and environmental issues in a developing country context. Specifically, the course will explore the importance of overconsumption, technology, poverty, and inequality as complex set of factors contributing to the environmental crisis.(IR)
