GBUS 8417 - Conversations & Debates on Globalization

The main goal of this course is to expose students to diverse and, at times, controversial issues related to globalization. The aim of the course is to move beyond preconceived opinions pro- or contra-globalization and to ask students how globalization could be shaped by business and other social factors for the common good. Using a variety of different methods, the course will be structured as an informal seminar with students and faculty engaging in conversation regarding questions about globalization for which no ready answers are yet available.
