PLCP 364 - Women and Politics in South Asia This course examines the role of women in politics in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, from the colonial to the modern period. Particular attention is paid to issues of democracy and authoritarian rule; identity politics (including religion, nationalism, and caste); women political leaders; and political violence.
