COMM 306 - Creating Business Value in the Global Community


Study of the importance of global consolidation and competitiveness as firms attempt to compete across the world.  Key topics include 1) anticipating and preparing for the next phase of global competition, 2) understanding international trade theory and differences in the political economy, 3) reviewing global and regional economic integration, 4) considering international market entry processes, and 5) examining key cross-cultural issues affecting business.  To better understand the global business environment, students will enhance analytical thinking processes and quantitative analysis skills.
