CJ 518 - Understanding Terrorism: Mindset, Methodologies, and Response This course is designed to provide the student with an appreciation and understanding of appropriate government responses to domestic terrorism ranging from military action, to criminal prosecution, and/or civil penalties. The student will examine the various definitions for terrorism; the effects of the media and the Internet, the history, and response from a crisis management standpoint. The student will approach the subject matter from both a theoretical and practical perspective as they analyze case histories and apply conflict resolution strategies. (Y)
