The Application for In-State Educational Privileges must be submitted with the Summer Session Application no later than the first day of classes of the summer session. Applications submitted after this date will not be reviewed and the applicant will be classified as an out-of-state student. The Application for In-State Educational Privileges may be obtained from the Office of Summer and Special Academic Programs, the Committee on Virginia Status of University Students or printed from the University’s website at: www.virginia.edu/undergradadmission/documents/ VirginiaInStateForm07.pdf .

The Code of Virginia, Section 23-7.4 explains the statutory requirements to demonstrate domicile. The statute and a thorough explanation of its requirements may be found at the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia’s website at: www.schev.edu.
